FRANCO-AMERICAINE
DE LOS ANGELES
Hi,
I
am a French man actually living in Germany, and I want to move to
the United States
and extend my career in IT development with an experience in the
US.
My
research on the Internet shows that 3 types of visa are possible
to reach my objective.
For
6 years I worked partly as independent IT consultant and developer
and wrote, sold and supported software (like the trainings management
software www.dasTM.de).
The
3 types I found:
H1B - Members of the professions (known as specialty occupations)
I try to find a sponsor but it is very difficult to find
one
and the visa are difficult to become.
L1 - Intra-company Transferee Visa
Can I create a "branch" office in the US?
What are the requirements?
My wife can get an L2 visa if I get the L1. Right?
E2 - Treaty Investor Visas
As a partly independent IT consultant and developer, can
I try to get this visa?
I will extend my activities in developing, selling and supporting
software.
Do I have to create first a firm in Germany
(like a GmbH)?
To get this visa, can I create a business in the US?
Or do I have to invest in an existing company?
Can my wife get a work permit if I get an E2 visa?
As
I speak French and German, I am thinking also to propose my services
for enterprises that have customers in France
and Germany
and need support for them.
Can
you advise me on which is the best visa for me?
How
much time and funds are needed to establish an office?
I
want to go abroad till this year.
Do
you deliver other services I can use to build my business or do
you know who can help me?
I
will need some help to start the business:
preparation
before I move, creating the business and get the business license,
assistance in marketing, writing the contracts, helping in bookkeeping
and tax, ...
Can
you also assist me in the different authority transactions?
Like
how to get a social security number, get the right insurance, etc.
Should
you need any information, please contact me.
Please note:
This offer is for
free for our Members.
